EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: Queensland Motorways seek EOI for open road toll system (PAID AD)

Queensland Motorways of Australia is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from vendors to supply and support components and systems for a new tolling and central system.

Queensland Motorways operates five multi-modal toll plazas across its network in the Brisbane Metropolitan area comprising - The Gateway Bridge, Gateway Extension and the Logan Motorway.

The A$1.88 billion (US$1.5 billion) Gateway Upgrade Project, which includes the duplication of the Gateway Bridge, will see the toll company transition its manual tolling operations to multi-lane free flow tolling.

The scope of the EOI package for tolling and central systems to support multi-lane free flow tolling includes the development of roadside systems and implementation of an integrated central backoffice and financial system.

System functions include, but are not limited to:

- toll transaction and image processing

- billing and accounts receivable

- purchasing and accounts payable

- general ledger

- customer relationship management

- payroll

- human resources

Queensland Motorways encourages both single vendors for an end to end solution, or alternatively individual vendors to supply different system modules or components. Joint venture or consortiums are welcome to register their interest.
